There are so many fun things to see and do when you leave Wilmington and travel up the Cape Fear River to Fayetteville. We started our day with the best know southern breakfast of course it would be the Waffle House you can't miss the hash browns smothered, covered, diced, and chunks with the world famous coffee. We made our way to either the beginning or the end of Highway 50, I will leave that up to you. Highway 50 takes you from Topsail Beach all the way to the other side of Raleigh, where Darius Rucker took a long toke in his song. Two lane roads are the most interesting roads to travel and never know what you will come across. Who would have thought the World's Largest Frying Pan would be in Rose Hill. I am sure you will agree that every road trip need a little sugar mixed it. With a stop in Roseboro you will find the world's tastiest snow cone called Penguin Ice. I would definitely recommend the rainbow with 100 choices of flavors that's my fav. I would also recommend a really cool place to shop for flip flops, the Big Blue Store in Clinton. You can't beat it for a dollar fifty for flip flops . At the time we got to Fayetteville we were ready for a giant dinner so of course the only thing that fit us perfect today was Mexican with the margarita and Cuba Libre to finish it off.
